This 1-day online training on the application of EMDR in treating grief involves a detailed look at the common protocols used, practice and consultation on participants’ clinical cases.

This 1-day online training involves a brief revision of the EMDR Standard Protocol, followed by a detailed look at the Third Prong of EMDR therapy, namely the Future template and the adjunct Flashforward technique. The workshop also involves practising the Future template and the Flashforward procedure, followed by a group discussion.

This 1-day in-person training will take place at Auckland Deaf Society, 16 Hillsborough Road, Auckland. It is presented by the Australia-based Dr Leisa Davina, certified schema therapist with ISST (The International Society of Schema Therapy). It involves familiarising with the basics of Schema therapy theory and interventions. It helps to formulate the client’s presenting issues and therapy needs while remaining true to high-fidelity EMDR treatment planning and practice.
